Create your free Virtual Room below. You can send out invitations afterwards. Or, if you are running a Web site, link to it and use it as a free hosted chat solution.
Title/subject:Required. The chat room title. Will also be used as subject of email invitations. E.g. “Afternoon Chat” or “Movie Discussion”.
Welcome message:Optional. A text of your choice shown to the user before he/she logs into the chatroom. You can write the purpose of the chatroom, instructions for getting access or any message you find relevant (max 1000 characters, HTML tags not allowed). The message can be changed as often as needed. {title} will be automatically replaced with the title of the chatroom.
Room type: You can choose between various types of user interfaces for the Virtual Room. The main types are chat and messaging. By default, both are allowed. In messaging mode, users enter and leave the room silently and the input interface is intended for writing longer paragraphs rather than short sentences. Messaging mode may be one-to-many (only administrators can write, regular users can only read) or many-to-one (regular users can write, but they cannot read other people's messages). Administrators can always read everything and use messaging mode. In chat mode, users may or may not have to join automatically when they enter the room (leaving a text message that they entered the room). Administrators are never forced to join automatically (in order for them to monitor chatrooms silently).
Allow to enter: [NEW] You can choose if and how you want to authenticate users in your chatroom: 1. All users who know that chatroom address (e.g. www.chatzy.com/123456789012). You will NOT be able to ban individual users with this option. 2. Only users whose email address has been confirmed by Chatzy (registered users). It doesn't matter if the users have been invited or not. 3. Only registered users who have received an email invitation for the room, or whom have been added manually to the visitor list, or who know the admin password. Notice that you cannot define a room password with the last option, because there is no need for it - you must specifically invite all users for the room (and you can always ban a user who was previously invited).
Room password:Optional. If you enter a password here, all users will need to know this password to enter the room. If you leave the field blank, users will not be prompted for a room password. Notice that the room password is not the same as the administrator password. Only English letters (A-Z and a-z), numbers (0-9) and underscores (_) can be used.

You can give regular users (i.e. users that have not entered the administrator password) access to different functions. Each item corresponds to an item in the left menu of the room.
Admin password:Required. The password used for entering the room as administrator. Notice that this password is not the same as the room password. Only English letters (A-Z and a-z), numbers (0-9) and underscores (_) can be used.
Confirm password:Required. You must reenter the administrator password here to avoid spelling errors.
Emergency email:Highly recommended. If you loose your password or if there are emergency issues concerning the room, we will send it to this address. We will NOT send any promotional material to this address.
